Communities not commodities - SHARE's 2019 annual conference

SHARE’s 2019 annual conference will be held at Peebles Hydro Hotel on 1st to 3rd March 2019.

SHARE’s 2019 annual conference planning is well underway. We have a fantastic event planned for delegates next year, which builds on the really positive feedback you gave us and with the help of some of last year’s delegates who took time out of their busy schedules to be part of our event planning focus group.

Delegates have the choice of 13 workshops covering topics including - Growing old gracefully; Creating great places to live; Child poverty – the impact on families and your community; Universal Credit and the risks to your business; Regulators intervention – minimising the impact; Dealing with the press and many more……

In addition to all those work related workshops delegates can also relax and have a bit of fun while taking part in team building exercises and networking with colleagues. Archery, gin tasting and a brewery tour as well as the usual Sunday morning relaxation therapies are all included.

It is a packed weekend where delegates can gain lots of new knowledge and skills as well as take some time out to relax.

Coach transfer is available from Glasgow. There’s no need to find childcare as there’s a Kids Club for children between 3-12 years of age with a full weekend programme of activities. We’ve thought of everything!

On Friday afternoon and Saturday morning delegates will also have time to visit the exhibition area.

If you are interested in exhibiting please get in touch at the SHARE conference please contact Pauline or download the exhibitor’s information from the website.

Communities not commodities is excellent value for money and is open to everyone – staff and Committee/Board and it makes sense to take advantage of the early bird discount which will run until 11 January 2019.

You can download the booking form from our HERE or email for more information.
